Travis Hunter live stats: Colorado vs. Kansas score, updates, highlights from 2024 college football game

Plenty of questions remain in Colorado’s 2024 season, including whether or not the Buffaloes can claim a College Football Playoff spot and whether two-way star Travis Hunter can snag this year’s Heisman Trophy.

Arguably the flashiest team in college football will be back on the field in Week 13, as No. 16 Colorado (8-2) is due for a road matchup against Kansas (4-6). Deion Sanders’ squad comes into Saturday’s game as one of the country’s best over recent weeks; Since an Oct. 12 loss to Kansas State, the Buffaloes have ripped off four consecutive wins.

Coming off consecutive 40-plus point games, Colorado is firing on all cylinders at the best possible time โ€” and the more Sanders’ squad wins, the more intriguing its path to a Big 12 Championship appearance, or even a CFP game, becomes.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders (3,222 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions) has already cemented his status as one of the NFL’s top quarterback prospects, while Hunter (911 receiving yards, 10 total touchdowns, eight passes defended, three interceptions) may be the most dynamic player in the sport right now, making highlight-reel plays week in and out.

Coach Prime has made Colorado football games a must-watch experience, and now, the Buffaloes will be challenged with a Jayhawks team coming in red-hot following back-to-back wins over ranked opponents.

Kansas beat then-No. 17 Iowa State 45-36, following that matchup by taking down then-No. 6 BYU 17-13 last week. Facing yet another ranked opponent in Colorado, quarterback Jalon Daniels (1,985 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, 10 interceptions) and running back Devin Neal (926 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns) will be looking to keep the unranked Jayhawks’ impressive run going.
