Tight contests across key constituencies in Maharashtra Assembly election

Kalyan East Assembly (7th Round)
BJP’s Sulabha Gaikwad is leading with 24,628 votes, maintaining a margin of 3,478 votes over independent candidate Mahesh Gaikwad, who has secured 21,150 votes. Dhanjay Bodare of UBT trails with 13,195 votes.

Chembur Assembly (Round 3)
In Chembur, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Prakash Phaterpekar leads with 7,109 votes, ahead of Shiv Sena’s Tukaram Kate who has 5,344 votes. RPI (A)’s Deepak Nikalje is trailing with 3,395 votes.

Chembur Assembly (Round 6)
The contest in Chembur has become even closer, with Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Ramesh Korgaonkar leading by just 190 votes, securing 21,622 votes. His rival, Shiv Sena’s Ashok Patil, is slightly behind with 21,432 votes.

Vikhroli Constituency (7th Round)
In Vikhroli, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Sunil Raut is in the lead with 26,407 votes. He holds a strong margin over Shiv Sena’s Suvarna Karanje, who has 19,879 votes, and MNS’s Vishwajit Dholam, who has secured 7,583 votes.

Bandra East
Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Varun Sardesai is leading in Bandra East with 5,237 votes, while NCP’s Zeeshan Siddique trails behind.

Dahisar Constituency (6th Round)
In Dahisar, BJP’s Manisha Choudhary is leading with 31,175 votes, followed by Vinod Ghosalkar of Sena (UBT) with 16,535 votes, and MNS’s Rajesh Yerunkar with 1,852 votes. The total votes counted so far stood at 51,125.

Meanwhile, Bhandup recorded the highest voter turnout in the region, with strong participation observed across constituencies.
