EastEnders to revisit Anna and Freddie romance in upcoming scenes

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders will revisit Anna Knight and Freddie Slater’s romance in upcoming scenes.

The pair slept together once last year, but have tried to remain platonic friends because of Bobby Beale’s feelings for Anna. Bobby and Anna have since started dating.

Freddie has more recently been supportive of Anna following her drink-spiking trauma, while also rebuilding his close friendship with Bobby.

In upcoming scenes, Freddie is determined to cheer up Mo Harris following her boyfriend Stevie Mitchell’s sudden departure from Walford earlier in the summer.

After he tries to get more answers on Stevie’s whereabouts from Teddy Mitchell, Freddie decides to take Mo birdwatching. Mo gets into the spirit with a full birdwatching costume.

Anna eventually joins the pair, as she’s been stood up by Bobby. Mo notices there’s still a spark between Anna and Freddie throughout the day.

During a private moment, Mo shares her suspicions with Anna, leaving Anna with questions about where she stands with Bobby.

Bobby has been more retired of late, given his 21st birthday meant that he was now older than his sister Lucy was when she died.

It has previously been reported that cast member Clay Milner Russell will be leaving his role as Bobby Beale shortly. There is no telling yet whether Anna and Freddie’s romantic spark will pave the way for Bobby’s departure from him.

These scenes will air next week on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
