In Saturday’s Big Ten matchup between No. 5 Indiana at No. 2 Ohio State, the Indianapolis Colts are among several teams with at least on representative in attendance.

According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, in addition to the Colts, also with members of the personnel department at this game include Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, Atlanta, and a number of others, including San Francisco GM John Lynch.

NFL teams having a member of their personnel department at college games during the season is all part of the pre-draft and evaluation process. This has been a weekly occurrence for the Colts.

Not surprisingly, given the talent that the Buckeyes have, the Colts have been in attendance at a few Ohio State games this season.

With help from Pro Football Focus’ early 2025 big board, here are some of the top draft-eligible prospects playing in this game that could have the attention of the Colts’ scouting department.

WR Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)

OF Jack Sawyer (Ohio State)

RB Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State)

OT Josh Simmons (Ohio State)

CB Denzel Burke (Ohio State)

FROM JT Tuimoloau (Ohio State)

S Lathan Ransom (Ohio State)

FROM Mikail Kamara (Indiana)

RB TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State)

IDL Tyleik Williams (Ohio State)

IDL CJ West (Indiana)

LB Jailin Walker (Indiana)

IOL Donovan Jackson (Ohio State)

To state the obvious, we are a long way off before the 2025 draft takes place. Positional needs for the Colts could change depending on how the remainder of the season plays out and what they do in free agency.

In addition to that, draft prospects will also move up and down big boards, especially as the pre-draft process unfolds after the season.

However, where we stand now, some positions that could be on the Colts’ radar include safety, cornerback, tight end, linebacker, and running back.
