Your First Alert to record heat to start the week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis tied a record high temperatures today of 85 degrees. We’ll have a couple more warm days followed by a cold front that will bring widespread rain and cooler temperatures.

TONIGHT: Mostly Clear with a South wind at 5 to 10 MPH and overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.

TUDAY: Mostly Sunny with a breezy South wind at 10 to 15 MPH and afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly Cloudy with a Southeast wind at 10 to 15 MPH and overnight lows in the mid 60s.

THE REST OF THE WEEK: Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s and overnight lows in the upper 60s. Thursday will be cloudy with rain and a few thunderstorms along with high temperatures in the mid 70s and overnight lows in the mid 50s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, highs in the lower 70s, and overnight lows in the upper 50s.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of a stray shower each day along with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to near 80 and overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.
