The Wyatt Sicks Def. American Made

WWE Raw began with a WrestleMania-level video package for the Wyatt Sicks-American Made rivalry. It made it seem like the two had been feuding for years.

Fans continue to get behind the Wyatt Sicks, especially when Erick Rowan was doing his monster gimmick and rising from the ashes of a table spot.

Rowan continued to run wild by tearing a piece of the barricade and using it as a weapon on American Made.

Nikki Cross hit an excellent German suplex on Chad Gable, who took a super athletic bump.

I thought this might be the night American Made finally gets their win, but Uncle Howdy got involved, making it an unfair 4-on-3 advantage for the babyfaces. But there are no rules in a street fight and the Wyatt Sicks continue to be very popular.

Wyatt Sicks vs. American Made Grade: B+

Finn Balor Challenges Damian Priest

Finn Balor received the “what” treatment from these Canadians, but didn’t seem the least bit frazzled.

Finn Balor called out Damian Priest, baiting Priest into a trap. Priest gold Balor he wrote the Judgment Day playbook and fought off the heels. Rhea Ripley (and her crutches) hit the ring for backup, but The Judgment Day ultimately won the numbers game and laid out the Terror Twins.

Judgment Day-Terror Twins Grade: B

Bianca Belair And Jade Cargill Def. Unholy Union

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill did a great job showcasing power spots that wowed Calgary. Joe Tessitore continues to do a great job putting over talent as he talked up the strength, power and improvement of the tag team champions.

For a match with such a predictable outcome, fans were very much into seeing Jade and Bianca run through the Unholy Union.

Backstage, Belair and Cargill were confronted by Damage CTRL.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Grade: B

Bret Hart Returns On WWE Raw

Bret Hart returned to loud cheers as fans sang along when Bret said he was the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

GUNTHER interrupted Bret Hart, putting the legend over as the best there was, but insisted GUNTHER was the best there is and the best there ever will be. GUNTHER went on to declare that Goldberg was his all-time favorite of his.

Fellow Canadian Sami Zayn came to Hart’s defense, once again challenging GUNTHER to a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. GUNTHER once again declined, and Bret Hart called GUNTHER a “yellow coward.”

GUNTHER and Sami Zayn brawled ont he outside, with Zayn getting the better of GUNTHER. Zayn vs. GUNTHER at Survivor Series in Vancouver, Canada is almost as inevitable as GUNTHER retaining against Zayn.

Bret Hart returns segment grade: B+

Dominik Mysterio Def. Dragon Lee

Tessitore noted Calgary was once voted the cleanest city in the world, but that ranking went down as soon as Dirty Dominik Mysterio entered the building.

Dominik won this match with a healthy amount of interference from The Judge Day, namely JD McDonagh and Liv Morgan. Joe Tessitore was audibly upset.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee Grade: B

Natalya, Vega And Valkyria Def. Pure Fusion Collective

Tessitore shared a heartbreaking update about Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames as Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were laid to rest. There were loud “Johnny” and several tributes throughout the night including Sami Zayn sporting a Gaudreau No. 13 jersey.

Natalya made her “surprise” return in Calgary, wearing a cowboy hat like only a Calgarly wrestler can.

The PFC continues to have a terrible team name, but at least they’re coordinated.

Natalya ran wild with a hot tag as the Saddledome came unglued.

The babyfaces won with stereo submissions, most notably Natalya’s Sharpshooter.

Natalya, Vega and Valkyria vs. PFC Grade: B

CM Punk Vs. Drew McIntyre, Hell In A Cell Announced

Drew McIntyre cut a brilliant promo about how CM Punk isn’t done with him just because Punk touched four corners in a row. McIntyre then turned his attention to is friend Wade Barrett, who stopped McIntyre from ending CM Punk. McIntyre said he was disappointed in his friend, but if it happened again, McIntyre would be “angry” with Barrett.

Barrett and McIntyre teased in interaction which led to a huge pop from the crowd. The tease was broken up by Adam Pearce who said Punk isn’t done with McIntyre. Pearce then announced CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre. One more time. Hell in a Cell.

Drew McIntyre Segment Grade: A

Finn Balor Def. Rey Mysterio

If WWE Raw does a poor rating, this may be the segment that suffers the most. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets began rallying from a 23-7 deficit against the 49ers and Rodgers threw his first touchdown pass as a Jet on a free play.

Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio are both in their 40’s, but they wrestled this match like they were in their 20’s.

After a Finn Balor win, Balor couldn’t leave well enough alone and he attacked Rey Mysterio further.

Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio Grade: B

Jey Uso Def. Dragunov, Strowman And Dunne

WWE really tried to get over the term “Calgar-Yeet.”

Bron Breakker was being a brilliant troll all evening as he trash-talked each contender in this match.

Fans wasted no time chanting “this is awesome” amid a waterfall of spots from each star.

Bronson Reed made a surprise appearance by hitting a Tsunami on a standing Braun Strowman, eliciting “holy s—t” chants. The match continued as a Triple Threat.

Fatal 4-Way Grade: A-
