Wind Advisory In Effect This Morning – WGRV.com

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 10:00 this morning for higher elevations in East Tennessee.

The National Weather Service reports that wind gusts at higher elevations could reach 45 miles per hour, with sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, and tree limbs could be blown down. A few power outages may result in those areas due to the wind.

Meanwhile, unseasonably warm temperatures will be expected today, with highs in the upper 70s and no chance of rain. There is a chance of showers early Friday, but sunshine returns by Saturday with highs in the mid 70s through Tuesday.
