Michigan is welcoming the No. 1 team in the country on Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff against top-ranked Oregon (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) is scheduled for 3:40 pm, and MLive will be providing live updates throughout the game. Continue to refresh this page for the latest from Michigan Stadium.

The Wolverines (5-3, 3-2) are looking to build off last week’s performance against Michigan State, especially the final 33 minutes of the 24-17 victory. They scored on four of their final six drives before icing the win with a kneel down.

Former walk-on Davis Warren is expected to start at quarterback once again, but look for Alex Orji to enter a change-of-pace role at times. He rushed for 64 yards on six attempts against the Spartans and gave Michigan a spark in the run game.

The Wolverines are facing the Ducks for the first time since 2007, and they are a double-digit underdog for the first time since 2017. Oregon ranks top-25 in total and scoring offense and defense and owns ranked wins over Ohio State and Illinois, which it routed 38-9 last week.

QB Dillon Gabriel has made a strong case for the Heisman Trophy, leading the country in completion percentage (76.2) and top-10 ranking in passing yards per game (296.4) and touchdowns (18).

Michigan is 3-16-1 all time against the Associated Press No. 1-ranked team.
