Florida State football without freshman running back Kam Davis vs. North Carolina

Florida State football will be without freshman running back Kam Davis for its game vs. North Carolina.

He was seen in street clothes during FSU’s pregame warmups on Saturday.

Davis didn’t play in the Seminoles’ 36-14 loss to Miami after picking up an injury vs. Duke. He was the leading rusher for the Seminoles vs. the Blue Devils, recording 63 yards on 14 carries.

He has recorded 131 rushing yards this season with his 63 yards vs. Duke a season high. Caziah Holmes got a higher workload vs. Miami to fill the gap Davis left. Holmes scored a touchdown on four carries for 15 yards against the Hurricanes.

Redshirt senior offensive lineman Darius Washington missed the Miami game after being a game-time scratch. He was listed as a starter on the depth chart released on Monday. He was dressed out and participated in warmups.

Jacob Rizy started in place of Washington vs. Miami and he was elevated into a starting position at left guard on the last depth chart.

Redshirt senior center Maurice Smith was dressed out, but he did not participate in any contact drills in pregame warmups.
