Live updates, channel for Week 13 game

Michigan football cannot start looking forward to next week’s matchup against Ohio State, or it could be in trouble.

The Wolverines (5-5, 3-4 Big Ten) play host to Northwestern (4-6, 2-5) at 3:30 pm Saturday at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Michigan needs one more victory for bowl eligibility, and is in danger of missing a bowl berth one season after winning the national championship.

Michigan and first-year coach Sherrone Moore have lost two straight to top-10 opponents, and have dropped three of their last four games, after starting the season 4-1. This includes a 20-15 loss to No. 6 Indiana last weekend. The Wolverines’ last win was a 24-17 win over in-state rival Michigan State on Oct. 26.

Northwestern is coming off a 31-7 loss to No. 2 Ohio State last week at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Wildcats took an early 7-0 lead over the Buckeyes but could never get anything else going as Ohio State took over.
