In Act 2, we see tensions between Piltover and the Undercity of Zaun rising, pushing both sides towards a war. In the meantime, Jinx is trying to deal with her grief and is struggling with her mental health.

Also, the long standing inequality, exploitation, and mismanagement, the political situation in Zaun is getting out of control. On the other side, Jayce is under pressure from Piltover’s Council to use Hextech that could cause mass destruction in the world of Arcane.

We might also be getting a tease for future storylines as Christian Linke, one of the Arcane’s creators, has stated that this is “just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and our partnership with a wonderful animation studio in Paris called Fortiche.”

Their team is already working on the upcoming projects across TV and films and although they are at the early stages, we should expect an announcement by the end of 2024.
