Cher Reveals She Was ‘in Love’ with Val Kilmer — But ‘He Left’ Despite ‘Fabulous Sex’

Cher is getting candid about her love — and sex — life.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the “Believe” singer, 78, opened up about how “madly in love” she was with Val Kilmer and how he left even though they had “fabulous sex.”

After host Howard Stern asked Cher if “guys expect fabulous sex” because she’s “Cher,” the actress/musician responded: “Yes, and they get it.”

She added that she can always tell it’s good “by the reaction.”

Stern, 70, then asked “who would ever leave” her, to which Cher replied: “Few men. Few men. A couple.”

“Look, I was madly in love with Val Kilmer, and he left,” Cher recalled.

“Why would he leave? He’s having fabulous sex with one of the most beautiful women in the world. What the f—‘s the problem with that?” the media personality asked.

“Because you don’t, sometimes you only stay, sometimes, you’re only meant to stay with someone so long and Val was like, he was really young,” the “Strong Enough” hitmaker replied.

Cher revealed that their age difference of 14 years “was a bigger deal back then.”

“The truth was if I hadn’t gone out with younger men, I would have never had a date,” she said. “Younger men weren’t intimidated by older women.”

Cher noted that the former couple’s shared “sense of humor” and “what they would put up with from one another” was more than she experienced with anyone else.

“He would just go off and do his own thing and you just had to be prepared,” she recalled. “And he was so beautiful. It went from madly in love and laughing hysterically to respecting each other’s ability.
