Ex-Browns QB signing with former team

BALTIMORE, Md. (WKBN) – ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is reporting that former Browns’ quarterback Tyler Huntley is being signed to the practice squad of his former team, the Baltimore Ravens.

He was cut by the Browns on Thursday after spending the entire offseason and preseason with Cleveland.

Huntley appeared in all three preseason games for the Browns, completing 37-51 passes for 322 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He also rushed for 46 yards, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.

Last season, he played in five games with Baltimore, finishing with 203 yards and 3 touchdowns.

In four seasons in the NFL, Huntley has started nine games and has piled up 1,957 passing yards and 8 touchdowns.

Huntley has added 509 career rushing yards with three scores.

He was originally signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2020 out of Utah.

Huntley spent the past four seasons in Baltimore, appearing in 20 games for the Ravens and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2022.
