The Department of Justice indicted a number of executives from the voting machine company Smartmatic Thursday, including founder and President Roger Pinate, on a series of federal money laundering and bribery charges.

“A federal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida returned an indictment today charging three executives of an election voting machine and service provider company and a former Chairman of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of the Republic of the Philippines for their roles in an alleged bribery and money laundering scheme to retain and obtain business related to the 2016 Philippine elections,” DOJ released Thursday.

A federal Grand Jury found the men paid bribes in order to land contracts for Smartmatic during elections in the Philippines nearly a decade ago.

“According to the indictment, between 2015 and 2018, Roger Alejandro Pinate Martinez, 49, a Venezuelan citizen and resident of Boca Raton, Florida, and Jorge Miguel Vasquez, 62, a US citizen and resident of Davie, Florida, together with others, allegedly caused at least $1 million in bribes to be paid to Juan Andres Donato Bautista, 60, the former Chairman of COMELEC These bribes were allegedly paid to obtain and retain business related to providing voting machines and election services for the 2016 Philippine elections and to secure payments on the contracts, including the release of value added tax payments,” DOJ states.

“The co-conspirators allegedly funded the bribes through a slush fund that was created by over-invoicing the cost per voting machine for the 2016 Philippine elections. To conceal and disguise the nature and purpose of the corrupt payments, the co-conspirators used coded language to refer to the slush fund and caused the creation of fraudulent contracts and sham loan agreements to justify transfers. The co-conspirators then allegedly laundered funds related to the bribery scheme through bank accounts located in Asia, Europe, and the United States, including in the Southern District of Florida,” DOJ continued.

According to DOJ, all of the men indicted “a maximum penalty of 20 years for each account of international laundering of monetary instruments and conspiracy to commit money laundering.”

Flashback to 2020, when the Trump Campaign accused Smartmatic of providing hackable software to Dominion Voting Systems, which they claimed compromised the 2020 Presidential election.

Today Smartmatic’s founder has been indicted for bribery & money laundering.

Trump was right.

My bet is someone was getting cold feet.

Deep State is sending a message to the line.

Or else.

Keep in mind that there are other manufacturers of these things in addition to Dominion and Smartmatic.

My first thought also, this a convenient story at a convenient time.

Oh, now that they’re “under investigation” by this fake regime… no other info can be released by them/about them…..got it?

Just in time for the upcoming election.

They’ll be found not guilty of any misdoings.

Just after the election.

Smartmatic issued a press release that said something along the lines of “It has come to our attention that two of our employees have been charged…”

It wasn’t just TWO OF THEIR EMPLOYEES! It was the co-founder and another high ranking company official!

They make it sound like it was a couple of low-level employees.

If you think about ulterior motives, one good theory is to ignore the media polls and question what the internal polling by the very smart wonks are. If they basically see Trump as winning and they can’t cut his feet out from under him like they have tried so many times, then they could need to turn the tables and claim “widespread” election irregularities.

Good point. And consistent with the practice of accusing the other side of that of which they themselves are guilty.

Good news if it’s expedited. But don’t you think it’s a little too late in the game? By the time it sees the day of light in court it will be too late the elections would have come and gone. Remember we have corrupt judges and a corrupt court system.

To: george76

That’s a start. We need to also stop letting foreign countries’ software and counting of all our votes. Back during Soretoro we were using Spain to count the votes.
