Blake Lively paid more than $10,000 for a Britney Spears Versace dress

Blake Lively I didn’t have to spend a fortune to get it Britney Spears tribute… because TMZ discovered how much she paid for a Versace dress that the famous singer wore in her time.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ… Blake spent just over $10,000 on Britney’s iconic outfit from the 2002 Versace fashion show.

We’re told Blake purchased the dress through Tab Vintage, a Los Angeles store specializing in vintage clothing. The store posted the dress on social media, but didn’t include the price. When Blake asked about the cost, she was shocked… and simply had to buy the item.

Blake bought the colorful one-strap dress about 6 months ago… and was waiting for the perfect moment to show it off… We brought it to light on Tuesday at the premiere of the film “It Ends With Us.”

According to our sources, Blake only made a few minor alterations… but she did NOT change the length. When Britney wore it, the hem of the dress was floor-length, but on Blake’s body, it ends at her ankles.

A source close to Britney told TMZ… Britney saw Blake in the dress, thought she looked adorable and is very flattered… and thinks it’s a cool tribute!
