Meghan Markle says she hasn’t ‘scraped the surface’ of suicidal thoughts publicly

Meghan Markleis speaking openly about her own experiences with suicidal thoughts… but, she says she hasn’t even “scraped the surface” publicly yet.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harrysat down for a new “CBS News Sunday Morning” interview that aired Sunday, during which they discussed their new show The Parents’ Network, which aims to support parents whose children have been affected by social media-related trauma.

Of course, Meghan has dealt with her own mental health issues… admitting as much during the royal gathering… bombshell interview 2021 with Oprah Winfrey She once considered taking her own life, telling OW she “just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”

MM, who has spoken about her own experiences of cyberbullying, told the interviewer she saw parallels between her experience and that of the children she and Harry are trying to help.

Markle says part of every healing journey, including her own, involves talking openly about the experience — but she says she’s really only scratched the surface of her own and hasn’t gone into much depth publicly.

That said, Meghan adds that she hopes that expressing her own pain, even if she doesn’t delve into it, will encourage others to seek help… so she hopes it’ll be a teachable moment.

Harry says that today every parent must be a first responder… ready to help their children at any time.

The Sussexes are working hard to help the children… and we’ll have to wait and see if that means Meghan delves deeper into her own trauma.
