Original Dr. Doom tells fans to chill with negative reviews about RDJ’s casting

Robert Downey Jr. Dr. Doom’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe already has some fans grumbling… but a fellow actor who wore the villain’s iron mask is totally on board.

Here’s the deal… RDJ made an amazing offer Appearance at Comic-Con where his return to the MCU was announced after years as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man… which of course led some to clutch their nerd pearls, as if that would taint his Marvel legacy.

Jose Culpwho played Dr. Doom in the infamous 1994 film “Fantastic Four” (which never got an official release due to an epic rights fight and has since been completely bootlegged), tells TMZ the trash talk needs to stop… because RDJ was and is the Marvel man!

JC is among those who argue that Robert’s perfect Tony Stark laid the groundwork for the billion-dollar MCU… which recently hit a rut. a series of failures …and needs that RDJ magic again.

And Joseph noted that those who are so upset about the casting should take another look at the Oscar winner’s resume… because the guy is a cinematic chameleon… who has never worked on the phone.
