ITV Emmerdale viewers have ‘proof’ Rose Jackson isn’t actually dead in huge twist

Emmerdale viewers are speculating that Rose Jackson may not be dead after her sudden disappearance.

Rose (Christine Tremarco) arrived in the Dales earlier this year as Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) estranged ex-wife and Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) mother. It was later revealed that Rose was being blackmailed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly), who is determined to ruin Kim Tate’s (Claire King) life.

After being forced to leave her home due to Rose’s schemes, Kim realized that Rose was targeting her and suspected another person was involved. This week, Kim discovered the truth and, despite not knowing about Will’s affair with Rose, she sought revenge, reports the Express.

After confronting Rose at Home Farm, Kim insisted she leave permanently. Alongside husband Will, they left Rose in a deserted area during Thursday’s episode (August 1). However, the plot thickened when an unknown character found Rose, causing her to disappear mysteriously.

In dramatic scenes that have led viewers to suspect a plot twist, only Rose’s bag, a picture drawn by her grandchildren, and a hospital letter were seen scattered on the grass.

Rose has caused plenty of drama

Emmerdale enthusiasts are now convinced that Rose may still be alive and they believe they’ve cracked the mystery, deeming the situation a potential “setup.” Fans have taken to social media to share their bewilderment, questioning why crucial personal items would be left had there been a genuine murder.

A fan speculated on an Emmerdale Facebook group: “Why would you leave something so personal behind, if you’ve done away with someone.”

In response, another suggested: “A setup definitely.” Another theory was proposed by a third fan who said: “I think Will drove back to Rose. Will took her to a train station or airport with the hush money he gave her to stop her from blackmailing him.”

“The stuff she left was staged to make it look like a kidnap or murder. Kim wouldn’t do it. She would never get her hands dirty,” added a fellow viewer.

Furthermore, keen-eyed fans noticed the absence of Roses phone among the belongings, noting: “There was no phone in the left items either hmmmm.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
