Rochester police are seeking information about this man who was on the scene of the double homicide and mass shooting at Maplewood Park in Rochester on July 28, 2024.

Rochester police officers are asking residents to help them locate a man who was at Maplewood Park Sunday afternoon when gunfire erupted and two women were shot to death.

During the Sunday after barbecue, 25-year-old Tyasia Manning and 34-year-old Phylicia Council were fatally shot, and five others were injured. The injured are expected to survive.

Now, officers are asking anyone with information about a man who was pictured carrying a handgun at the scene on Sunday to contact police. Specifically, officers are seeking the man’s name.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or RPD’s Major Crimes Unit at (585) 428-7157 or email [email protected].
